Dr.
Rameshwar Oraon from Lohardaga (Jharkhand) was
inducted into the Union Coucil of Ministers to the
Manmohan Singh Ministry. Other inducted persons
are Former Chief Election Commissioner M.S. Gill,
Jyotiraditya Scindia(Congress), Jitin
Prasad(Congress), Santosh Bagrodia(Congress),
Raghunath Jha(RJD) and Congress' Puducherry chief
V Narayanaswamy. They were
administered the oath of office and secrecy by
President Pratibha Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan at
a function attended by Prime Minister Manmohan
Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Cabinet
Ministers.
Dr.Rameshwar Oraon(Jharkhand), Jyotiraditya
Scindia(Madhya Pradesh), Jitin Prasada(U.P) and
Raghnath Jha(Bihar) are from Lok Sabha and
V.Narayanasamy (Panducherry) is from Rajya Sabha.
Dr. Rameshwar Oroan
was
sworn in as Minister of State. He have alloted
Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He is elected from
Lohardaga(S.T)constituency in Jharkhand state form
ticket of Indian National Congress(INC).
